Pendleton is pleased that Marie Emanuel will be attending the Academy next year; He encloses a certificate of acceptance which she will need in order to enter the US. Pendleton adds in postscript that he has just now heard from Mrs. Doron Synnestvedt (Marie Louise Deltenre) that Deltenre is indeed recovering.

Pendleton writes that it is a pleasure to have Marie-Emanuel at the Academy, and that she seems to be enjoying the experience; Miss (Rita) Buell has given her a good report.
