Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. William Hyde Alden in Bryn Athyn, PA, USA. Pendlton reminds Alden that Alden's salary was contingent upon his continued teaching in the school. As Alden has been forced to stop teaching because of his health, his salary will be discontinued on Jan. 1st, and his pension increased to $2220 per year.
