Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. William Hyde Alden in Bryn Athyn, PA, USA. Pendleton writes that he has be authorized by the Academy Board of Directors to inform Alden that, effective July 1st, Alden will be paid $2205 from the Pension Fund for the year 1931-32. Alden will also recieve an addiotnal salary of $735, provided he continues to teach in the Academy.

The Academy Board of Directors sends their best wishes, and Pendleton expresses the deep regret of the faculty at Alden's departure from the Academy.
