Acton's letter and report arrived in time to be included in the report of the Secretary of the Ministers' Council. They were enjoyed by Pendleton and Acton's parents. Pendleton writes that Acton must be patient with efforts to establish a New Church school in Durban. For now it remains the school of Miss Champion, who is reportedly doing good work. Eventually the soceity will take it over, but this process...

Theodore Pitcairn has accepted the position of second assistant pastor of the Bryn Athyn Church, and therefore will be resigning as pastor of the Durban Society. This was to be exspected as a result of his (Pitcairn's) recent marriage. Acton is now Minister of the Durban Society, "directly under the Bishop, who according to our order, is the Pastor of any Society which for any reason is without a Pastor."...
