Pendleton reports that the Extension Board has decided to accept Harris’ proposition that the Board pay for half of Harris’ traveling expenses for his four yearly visits to Abington. The Board is very pleased that the Abington New Church members will supply the other half of the funds. Harris should let Mr. Alden know when he will need the money.

Although Mr. Acton has suggested that the Bishop need not deliver an address, Pendleton feels that “unless some time is provided for a paper by the Bishop the purpose of calling an Assembly will be in large part defeated.” Pendleton will shorty be departing for New York to preside at an assembly over the weekend.
