Pendleton is looking foreward to his trip to Canada in the spring, and will be delighted to stop in with Alden and his wife Ersa. Toronto has always entertained Pendleton "royally" and he has good memories of the past. Later, he will write to Alden about the date of his arrival.

Pendleton was delighted by the encouraging signs in Acton's last letter, and Pendleton would like to cooperate with Alden in any way possible. Unfortunately, Pendleton will be busy for the next four Sundays, and so will not be able to administer Holy Supper for the Advent Church. He recommends either Mr. (Eldred) Iungerich, Mr. Alden Sr., or the elder Mr. de Charms as his replacement.
