Pendleton is happy that Alden's work in Toronto is going well and that the people there are responding positively to Miss Alice (Grant?). Nothing will be more beneficial to Alden's work long term than a school, but Alden must make sure the conditions are right before attempting to start one. Pendleton warns that Miss Celia Bellinger does not have quite as positive an outlook...
