Pendleton acknowledges Iungerich’s letter of Sept. 21st in which Iungerich reports on his dealings with the leaders of the Hague movement. Pendleton writes that this letter was read aloud to the Consistory, resulting in “wave after wave of merriment, the climax of which came with the ‘boneless jellyfish.’”

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Elmo C. Acton in Durban, Natal, South Africa. Pendleton informs Acton that the next General Assembly will be held in London, in the summer of 1928. Pendleton intends to ordain Rev. Robert J. Tilson into the third degree of the priesthood, and Acton into the second degree. The General Church will contribute $400 towards Acton's travel expenses if he is able to attend.

Pendleton is sorry to hear that Deltenre cannot attend the British Assembly, however, he looks forward to visiting Deltenre in Brussels after the Assembly. Pendleton informs Deltenre that Mr. (Ernst) Pfeiffer has been assigned to take over the work of the General Church in the Hague. This assignment relieves Deltenre of his temporary pastoral charge of the church in Holland.
