Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Karl R. Alden in Toronto, Canada. The wedding date of Marion (Childs Pendleton?) has been changed, and Pendleton will no longer be able to preach in Toronto the Sunday after the Assembly. He writes, "In this matter I am up against 'Uncle Sam' and his leave of absences and so must yield."

Pendleton will not be able to stop in Toronto before the Assembly becasue he has a wedding in Bryn Athyn on the 18th. However, if the Assembly ends on the 24th, he could spend the evening of the 25th in Toronto and leave on the 26th.

Pendleton finds the program for his upcoming trip to Toronto satisfactory. He thinks he will be fully recovered from his recent influenza by then.

Pendleton writes that it is a pleasure to hear the good results of Alden's work so far; if Alden can get some people to come who haven't attended before, it will be a triumph. Pendleton informs Alden that although the Assembly has been shortened, Alden is still on the program to preach for June 20th. Pendleton trusts Lenore (Alden?) and the new baby girl are doing well.
