Pendleton reports that the Assembly was a success, and he is sorry that Headsten was unable to attend. Of the Assembly, Pendleton writes that there was “a realizing sense of the great mission for which the Church stands, and as well a distinct feeling of encouragement for the future.”

As a result of Alden's letter of March 1st, Pendleton has sent a telegram to Llewellyn (David?) to say that the assembly will be from May 21st-24th.
