Pendleton's schedule for May and June is very busy with the Ontario assembly, school closing, the wedding of Marion (Childs Pendleton?), ministers' meetings, and Pendleton's trip to Europe.

He writes, "In this matter I am up against 'Uncle Sam' and his leave of absences and so must yield."

Pendleton will not be able to stop in Toronto before the Assembly becasue he has a wedding in Bryn Athyn on the 18th. However, if the Assembly ends on the 24th, he could spend the evening of the 25th in Toronto and leave on the 26th.
