Pendleton has been informed that the people of the Denver Society wish to appoint a permanent pastor, and so it will be necessary for David to terminate his present temporary position there by next July. Pendleton thanks David for his service and writes that he hopes to see David and his wife at the upcoming Assembly in Glenview.

Pendleton acknowledges Alden's letter of Jan. 28th, in which Alden describes his evangelization methods. Alden suggests getting to know the parents and becoming a part of the life of a potential convert before bringing up the New Church. This reminds Pendleton of the methods of the I.W.W (Industrial Workers of the World?); they approach potential converts not when they are happy, but when they are unhappy....

He asks Alden to discuss holding an assembly in the Spring with the Toronto and Kitchener societies. Pendleton would prefer the dates for the assembly to include April 10th and/or 17th.

As a result of Alden's letter of March 1st, Pendleton has sent a telegram to Llewellyn (David?) to say that the assembly will be from May 21st-24th. This way Pendleton can accomodate the Kitchner society in terms of date, and he thinks that the people of the Toronto Soceity will understand.

Pendleton writes that it wont be necessary to rent out a hall, and whether or not he preaches in Toronto can be decided later. Pendleton's schedule for May and June is very busy with the Ontario assembly, school closing, the wedding of Marion (Childs Pendleton?), ministers' meetings, and Pendleton's trip to Europe.

The wedding date of Marion (Childs Pendleton?) has been changed, and Pendleton will no longer be able to preach in Toronto the Sunday after the Assembly. Pendleton will not be able to stop in Toronto before the Assembly becasue he has a wedding in Bryn Athyn on the 18th. However, if the Assembly ends on the 24th, he could spend the evening of the 25th in Toronto and leave on the 26th.
