As it was unclear if the Toronto Society wished to host the Assembly, the Pastor’s Council offered to host the Assembly in Bryn Athyn if needed. Pendleton is pleased that Gyllenhaal has agreed to give the evening service at the upcoming Assembly. Pendleton tells Gyllenhaal that the US is having many of the same financial difficulties as Canada.
