Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Elmo C. Acton in Durban, Natal, South Africa. Pendleton tells Acton that Mission funds should be regulated by the Mission Council in South Africa, and the doner may be a member of the South African Committee in Bryn Athyn. Pendleton trusts that the latter arrangement can be put in place around next September. Theodore Pitcairn will be coming back to Bryn Athyn to resume his work as one of the society pastors.

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Elmo C. Acton in Durban, Natal, South Africa. Pendleton informs Acton that the next General Assembly will be held in London, in the summer of 1928. Pendleton intends to ordain Rev. Robert J. Tilson into the third degree of the priesthood, and Acton into the second degree. The General Church will contribute $400 towards Acton's travel expenses if he is able to attend.

Pendleton writes that in Bryn Athyn, they are getting along well despite severe financial losses in the holdings of the Academy and the General Church. Pendleton send greetings to Mrs. Deltenre and Deltenre’s daughters.
