Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli, 1918-05-22
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Fred E. Waelchli in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Pendleton has received Waelchli’s letter of May 8th and report of May 19th. Pendleton will try to rearrange things so that Waelchli can attend the June meetings. Pendleton noted Waelchli’s comment on the minutes and the length of time it would take for the Council to read them. Pendleton is encouraged by Waelchli’s report of his recent episcopal trip, especially the parts that deal with Middleport and Cincinnati. The only thing in Waelchli’s report that gave Pendleton cause for concern was the proposed trek. He writes, “Frankly, I am very sorry to hear of it, but if, as you say, it is in the blood, it must out and we cannot help it.” Names mentioned: Hanlin, Mr. (Charles?) Merrell, Mr. (Colon) Schott
