He inquires whether Waelchli would like him to accept his resignation as pastor of the Carmal Church or delay the matter. Pendleton feels that he should either accept the resignation now and inform the secretary of the Church in Kitchener, or that Waelchli should withdraw it. Pendleton is sending Waelchli the replies that the Church has received from various New Church circles in response to a letter intended to gauge their interest in having Waelchli as their pastor.
