Pendleton reports that Waelchli’s letters to the Bishop of February 25th and March 8th have been received and discussed by the Consistory. They considered the idea of Waelchli ending his work for the school and devoting his full time to work for the General Church. The principal issue is that more funds would be needed to carry out this plan.
