Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Robert J. Tilson in London, England. Pendleton has just learned in a letter from Victor Gladish that preparations for the upcoming British Assembly are underway. He officially asks Tilson to preside and send his greetings to the Assembly. Pendleton notes that they have heard little from England regarding the events of the mid-year meetings which have been thoroughly published in the May issue of New Church Life. Pendleton writes, “The issue discussed in Council is now before the whole church, and the providential outcome is in the hands of the Lord. . . The members of the church are now in freedom to find their spiritual location, and give their loyalties in accord with their own desire and judgement.” Names mentioned: Victor Gladish, Mr. (Will) Caldwell
