Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton's secretary, Viola Wolcott Rennels, to Rev. Robert J. Tilson in London, England. Rennels thanks Tilson for his letter of August 5th with enclosures. The Church’s newly designed baptism cards are currently being printed. She will send Tilson a batch when they arrive. She was pleased to hear that Tilson is so happy with his new assistant, Wynne Acton. She considered Acton to be of fine character and very dependable. Rennels hopes Tilson’s three weeks’ rest at the seaside has been beneficial. She explains that the baptism of the Blythe child was not published in the September issue of the Life because space had to be cut due to the Depression. An announcement will appear in the October issue. Names mentioned: Wynne Acton, Blythe
