Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Robert J. Tilson, 1932-06-20
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Robert J. Tilson in London, England. Pendleton sends Tilson his address to the British Assembly. He writes “Assemblies are called to the end that the Lord may be in the midst of them, and if so, then the holy covenant of His Second Advent is thereby renewed in heart and mind.” He continues, “This covenant is effected distinctly through the new revelation given to the church – given as the last of the several great testaments which the Lord has provided as witness of Himself, and as the means of man’s regeneration.” He goes on to describe the different covenants God has made with man throughout history, concluding with his hope that “this Assembly may be the means of renewing the inward bond of its faith.”
