Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Robert J. Tilson in London, England. Pendleton wishes to appoint an Assembly Committee for the General Church in England. He believes this will mark a step forward for the Church and will serve to differentiate Assemblies, which are called by the Bishop, from society meetings. Pendleton suggests the committee be made up of Tilson, Victor (Gladish), a member from Michael Church, and a member from the Colchester Society.
