Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Robert J. Tilson in London, England. Pendleton has fallen behind on his correspondence as a result of his visits to Toronto, Kitchener, Glenview, Chicago, and Pittsburgh, and of his brother’s death. Pendleton is very happy with the arrangements Tilson’s Assembly Committee has made so far for the 1928 General Assembly. He does not think they need to send out special invitations as the meetings will be open to the public and anyone is welcome. He gives his approval of Victora Hall as the Assembly venue. Pendleton will soon begin making arrangements for papers, addresses, sermons, etc. for the Assembly. Pendleton reminds Tilson that his ordination into the third degree will require a red stole in addition to white under and outer garments. Names mentioned: Mr. (Fred) Gyllenhaal, Victoria Hall, Bloomsbury Square
