Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Robert J. Tilson in London, England. Pendleton informs Tilson that he will not be able to attend the upcoming British Assembly. He therefore appoints Tilson president of the Assembly and asks if he will act as celebrant in administering Holy Supper to the congregation. He suggests Tilson ask Mr. Gyllenhaal and Mr. Bjorck to assist with Holy Supper. Pendleton has just received news from Gyllenhaal that Bjorck has been in a serious accident. He hopes Bjorck is recovering and that there will be no permanent damage. In Bryn Athyn, they are busy getting ready for the next general assembly. Pendleton is also preparing to leave for his Spring visit to the Canadian societies. He sends his greetings to Mrs. Tilson and hopes she is making progress in her recovery. Names mentioned: Mr. (Fred) Gyllenhaal, Mr. (Albert) Bjorck, Mrs. Tilson
