Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt at the Englemere Hotel in Geneva, OH, USA. Pendleton was pleased by the news in Synnestvedt’s most recent letter. He is glad that Synnestvedt’s operation went well and that the results are promising. Pendleton has recently received a cablegram from Theodore Pitcairn requesting a further leave of absence from the Academy. Referring to Pitcairn, Pendleton comments, “Sometimes I am disposed to think that he will in the end, permanently locate on the other side.
