Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt, 1927-03-14
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Pendleton has not kept up on his correspondence as he has been “in the hands of the grippe.” He hopes the meetings in Pittsburgh went well and that the changes they made to the Church organizational system are not too radical. He explains he is not opposed to governance changes so long as they “recognize and admit of the carrying out of our essential doctrine of Church government.” Pendleton is also interested in the prospect of a new site and building for the Pittsburgh society. He wonders whether the McKallip gift will be used for this purpose. Names mentioned: McKallip
