Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt. Pendleton apologizes for not making more in-depth comments on Synnestvedt suggestions for the Pittsburgh district Assembly; The programs are similar every year and the variations don’t make much of a difference to him. He informs Synnestvedt that a Joint meeting has been called to discuss arrangements for the General Assembly next June. Pendleton then relays the situation regarding Telford and the ball games. He writes, “Telford wrote to me about the ball games. I replied that Barkis is willin’, but have heard nothing more from him. My plan as it now stands is that I shall arrive in East Liberty Friday morning, leaving by the 11.10 Thursday night. This was the understanding with Helen when she was here for the school opening.” Postscript, he adds, “Letter just received from Telford. Tickets still in doubt.” Names mentioned: Telford, Barkis, Helen
