Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt, 1925-05-08
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt. Pendleton has received Synnestvedt’s letter of April 18th regarding Pittsburgh’s semi-annual meeting. Upon returning from the district Assembly in New York, Pendleton was shocked to hear of Louis Schoenberger’s death. He writes, “I at once wrote to Cora, but you know the feeling of the futility of words. However, there is some help on such occasions, from sincere sympathy.” He continues, “Will Caldwell kindly let me read your letter to him with reference to Louis’ last moments. You will miss him, his affection especially.” Pendleton departs tomorrow for the Washington-Baltimore district assembly, which he hopes will be as successful as the one in New York. Names mentioned: Louis Schoenberger, Cora (Rott Schoenberger), Will Caldwell
