Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Pendleton thanks Synnestvedt for his letter of Dec. 19th; He enjoyed reading about the affairs of the Pittsburgh society, and the encouraging tone of the letter reminded him of the “old days.” Pendleton reports that his recent trip to Canada was satisfactory. He comments, “War conditions are of course somewhat adverse to a lively manifestation of spiritual interests, yet even on this score I cannot complain.” Pendleton will discuss the matter of timing for the Pittsburgh Assembly when he sees Synnestvedt in person shortly. Pendleton was also glad to learn from Miss Celia that Mrs. Synnestvedt’s health appears to be improving and is better than reported. Names mentioned: Miss Celia (Bellinger), Mrs. (Theodora Bellinger) Synnestvedt
