Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt, 1916-06-30
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Homer Synnestvedt in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Pendleton discusses his travel plans for his upcoming visit to Glenview and Chicago. He will be in Glenview for their district assembly the second Sunday in October, at which time he will dedicate their new buildings. He suspects he will be asked to spend the third Sunday in October in Chicago, and this leaves the fourth Sunday for Pittsburgh’s district Assembly, if desired. Commenting on the situation, Pendleton writes, “I find it very inconvenient to be away from Bryn Athyn three Sundays in succession, and would suggest that you consider the advisability of holding the Pittsburgh Assembly some other time of the year. This is only a suggestion for the future, with a view to shortening my absences from Bryn Athyn at any given time.” Synnestvedt should inform Pendleton at his earliest convenience whether the Pittsburgh society would like to have a district assembly this year.
