Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. George Goddard Starkey in Glenview, IL, USA. Pendleton has received Starkey’s ministerial report and letter of Jan. 17th. In response to Starkey’s letter he writes, “I am much pleased to hear of your appreciation of my South African letter. One often feels that the results of one’s labours go for little or nothing, simply because there is no perceptible response. It is human so to feel, yet Providence would train us to work for the joy of it.”
