 Item
Identifier: RG.004.01

Scope and Contents

Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Gilbert Haven Smith in Glenview, IL, USA. Pendleton suggests that the Glenview society consider offering a job to Norman (Reuter). Pendleton reports that Reuter’s sermons are good and that he promises well as a teacher. Additionally, Pendleton would like Reuter to “get some seasoning” working with Smith before being assigned to an independent position. Smith should let Pendleton know if this can be arranged so that Pendleton can contact Reuter about it. If Reuter is not needed by Glenview over the summer, he will likely attend the upcoming General Assembly in London. Names mentioned: Seymour (Nelson), Alvin (Nelson), Norman (Reuter)
