Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Ernst Pfeiffer, 1926-11-08
Scope and Contents
Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Ernst Pfeiffer in The Hague, Holland. Pendleton acknowledges Pfeiffer’s letters of Sept. 1st and Sept. 15th. Upon returning from his trip west, Pendleton presented Pfeiffer’s letters to the Executive Committee. The Committee was very impressed with the results of Pfeiffer’s work in The Hague, and they granted Pfeiffer’s request for assistance in advertising his missionary meetings. Pendleton informs Pfeiffer that he has been interested in the idea of holding the next General Assembly in London “on the ground that we should by that means advance the idea of our General Church as being universal instead of national.” Names mentioned: (Gerrit) Barger
