Typed letter from N.D. Pendleton to Rev. Ernst Pfeiffer in The Hague, Holland. Pendleton advises Pfeiffer on how best to organize his society. Pendleton suggest a Council or Board, made up of the society’s leading men, presided over by Pfeiffer as Pastor. Later, Pfeiffer may want to form a subordinate financial committee, creating a separation between ecclesiastical and lay functions. Pendleton writes that his recent trip to Europe was both enjoyable and useful; He was especially encouraged by the Church outlook in Holland.
