Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Circa 1904 CE. Pendleton notifies W.F.P. that the paper he is writing for the Assembly is on the topic of Messianic prophecy. Pendleton discusses Alfred Stroh’s article on the relation of the sun to the “first element.” Before reading this article, Pendleton assumed Stroh’s views on this matter differed from his own. However, he now sees that they hold the same position. Beatrice is recovering nicely after the birth of their daughter, Jean Lowrie, and Pendleton hopes she will be well enough to attend the upcoming Assembly in June. Names mentioned: Alfred Stroh, Charley (Charles) Doering, Mr. Gladish, Beatrice (Walton Childs Pendleton), Lean Lowrie (Pendleton)
