Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. No date. Pendleton discusses plans for the upcoming Pittsburgh Assembly. He has been assuming that W.F.P. will preach on the Assembly Sunday, but he has not had confirmation of this. In case W.F.P. is unwilling to preach, Pendleton requests that W.F.P. assign a visiting minister to fill the pulpit. There is a banquet planned for the Friday night which will include a musical program and time for speeches and addresses. It has also been suggested that they hold a men’s meeting on the Monday following the Assembly. Pendleton has already received notice from 30 or more people who plan to attend the Assembly.
