Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1913-11-28
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton was glad to learn of the Consistory’s favorable attitude regarding his proposed relocation to Bryn Athyn. There are signs that the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors will approve as well. If W.F.P. is unable to make his planned trip to Pittsburgh, Pendleton will come to Bryn Athyn instead. He may decide to bring Beatrice so they can look at housing options together, in the event that they are transferred to Bryn Athyn. Pendleton hopes for a final decision on this matter soon, as arrangements will need to be made to fill his position in Pittsburgh. Pendleton ends the letter by noting that all of his children currently have, or are recovering from, chicken pox. Names mentioned: Mr. (John) Pitcairn, Beatrice (Walton Childs Pendleton), Mr. (Jacob?) Schoenberger
