Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1913-04-03
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton has received W.F.P.’s letter of April 1st. As W.F.P. will see from Gladish’s letter, if they wish to move forward with Gladish’s proposed plan regarding Cincinnati, W.F.P. will need to be in Pittsburgh either the last Sunday in April or the third Sunday in May. The itinerary for Pendleton’s upcoming trip to Europe depends on Alfred Stroh’s movements. Although W.F.P. has yet to inform Pendleton of Stroh’s plans, it is getting late enough that Pendleton must write to and make definite plans with the societies he will visit regardless. Pendleton has been preparing a paper on the “Gospel and the Divine Proceeding,” which he hopes to use during his trip around Europe and also at the British Assembly. Names mentioned: Mr. (Willis) Gladish, Alfred (Stroh)
