Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1913-03-10
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Mr. Gladish has inquired about the possibility of Pendleton visiting Middleport and Cincinnati. Pendleton would like W.F.P.’s opinion on the matter; He is happy to travel for the Church, provided that his place in Pittsburgh is adequately filled during his absence. Perhaps Pendleton will visit Middleport in May while W.F.P. is in Pittsburgh. Pendleton hopes Mrs. Iungerich will be in Paris while he and Beatrice are there, otherwise they will have to rely on Mr. Hussenet. Pendleton worries whether he will be able to communicate with people while in Europe over the summer. Pendleton has booked passage to England on the Oceanic and is considering return passage on the Olympic. In reference to the upcoming trip Pendleton comments, “I thought that all we had to do was to pack up and go- but I realize my mistake.” Names mentioned: Mr. (Willis) Gladish, Mrs. (Regina?) Iungerich, Mr. (Ferdinand) Hussenet
