Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1913-02-20
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton informed the Committee of his proposed summer trip to Europe. All seemed in favor, and they agreed to provide for whichever minister is sent to take Pendleton’s place while he is away. Pendleton believes (George) DeCharms would do well in the position. Pendleton would like to secure passage soon, and he requests that W.F.P. give him as much information about the people and places as possible to that he may plan an itinerary for the trip. Pendleton would also like to know the dates for the British Assembly and whether he should delay sailing for Europe in order to attend the Chicago General Assembly. Names mentioned: (George) DeCharms, Ora (Pendleton)
