Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1913-01-18
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. In preparation for his episcopal trip to Europe over the summer, Pendleton requests as much information as possible on the places and people he will be visiting. Pendleton would also like to be reminded of the dates of the British Assembly. He hopes there will be time to attend the Glenview General Assembly before departing for Europe. Pendleton’s wife, Beatrice, has agreed to accompany him on the trip, provided that arrangements can be made for care of the children in her absence. The current plan is to have the children room at Mrs. Hicks’ house and board at the Inn. Names mentioned: Mr. (Gerrit) Barger, Beatrice (Walton Childs Pendleton), Mrs. (Elizabeth Keppler) Hicks
