Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1912-03-15
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton has received W.F.P.’s last letter, and he has written to Glenn Smith, Charley, and Andy in Atlanta in preparation for his trip South. He will be in Atlanta over the Sunday of April 14th. He expects to be absent from Pittsburgh for a total of three Sundays, and he hopes W.F.P. will preach on at least two of those Sundays. If Luelle’s new house is not ready in time to host W.F.P., he can stay with Pendleton’s family. Pendleton has also written to Dr. Cranch to inform him of his resignation from work in Erie. Mr. Brickman has indicated that he will go in Pendleton’s place if the Erie Circle would like to have him instead. Names mentioned: Glenn Smith, Charley (Pendleton), Andy, Mr. Alden, Dr. (Edward) Cranch, Mr. (Walter) Brickman, Luelle (Pendleton Caldwell)
