Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton replies that there will be no visiting ministers for the Pittsburgh Assembly aside from Mr. Gladish. The people in Pittsburgh will be pleased to have W.F.P. preach for them on the Assembly Sunday. The Philosophy club has invited Dr. King to deliver an address on the Thursday before the Assembly, and Pendleton would like W.F.P. to attend the meeting. W.F.P.’s address is scheduled for Saturday evening, following the reading of reports. Pendleton notes, “There is a disposition here to make this Assembly the best yet.” Names mentioned: Mr. (Willis Lendsay) Gladish, Dr. (J. B. S.) King
