The Philosophy Club met to choose someone to deliver an address to them on the Thursday prior to the opening of the Assembly; They are still deciding between Dr. King and Mr. Acton. Pendleton arrived in Erie by train last Monday evening only five minutes ahead of the train which was wrecked; His family, thinking that he was on the wrecked train, was very distressed.
