Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton would like to finalize plans for the Assembly. He askes W.F.P. if he will be able to preach for them on Sunday morning and deliver his address on Saturday night. Pendleton would also like to ask Mr. Gladish to present something at the men’s meeting on the Monday following the Assembly. The Philosophy Club met to choose someone to deliver an address to them on the Thursday prior to the opening of the Assembly; They are still deciding between Dr. King and Mr. Acton. Pendleton arrived in Erie by train last Monday evening only five minutes ahead of the train which was wrecked; His family, thinking that he was on the wrecked train, was very distressed.
