Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton reflects that he plans to remain in Pittsburgh for a long time as “each passing year makes a radical change less likely.” Regarding his health, Pendleton has been exercising on the tennis court at his doctor’s recommendation, and he has been feeling much better as a result. Pendleton writes that he plans to let Ora’s French professor, with whom he has formed a friendly relationship, perform an examination along the lines W.F.P. has suggested if the subject is brought up again.
