Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1911-04-06
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton is tempted by W.F.P.’s invitation to spent the summer in Bryn Athyn, but unfortunately, Pendleton and his family will not be able to make the necessary arrangements this year. Pendleton writes, “Our children have delightful memories of Bryn Athyn, but child like no realization of the difficulties. They keep the subject before us; and we can not but indulge their dreams.” Pendleton has received a letter from Wm. Junge inviting him to attend the Chicago District Assembly in May, and he feels he should accept. He also has upcoming plans to visit the Erie circle. Pendleton’s health has been poor since his recent bout of bronchitis, and he suspects he may be suffering from kidney issues. Names mentioned: Augusta (Pendleton), (William) Junge
