Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1910-03-21
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton writes that it would be a “sad pleasure” for him to finish the work W.F.P. has been preparing on the “Exposition of the Word.” Pendleton would dedicate his best abilities to its completion if needed, but he is glad this is only a remote possibility. Pendleton hears Homer’s health has improved and they may expect him to stop over in Pittsburgh on his way home. Pendleton has finally received word from Dr. Cranch, and he now has plans to visit Erie in April. Pendleton will depart for Cincinnati on Wednesday; He will dedicate Mr. Schott’s home while there. Beatrice’s health appears to be slowly improving. Names mentioned: Mr. Doering, Homer (Synnestvedt), Dr. (Edward) Cranch, Mr. (Colon) Schott, Beatrice (Walton Childs Pendleton)
