Yet we are warned that it is dangerous. Certainly not to be encouraged. It may be that such converse will be more frequent as men become more spiritual and celestial. If so, I presume that it will be incidental – like the converse of one intelligent New Churchman with another. It will not be revelation- not the Word or other Writings. It will be devoid of all phantasie.” Pendleton requests that W.F.P. prepare a sermon if he plans to stop in Pittsburgh on Sunday on his way to Glenview.
