Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1906-03-15
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton comments on his earlier letter to W.F.P.: “Since writing this afternoon I have been thinking that I possibly allowed myself to take too serious a view of the trouble in B.A. and that the calling of a consistory meeting would tend to heighten the appearance of a disturbance. Things are generally only so serious as we make them- It seems too bad that a question like vaccination should divide us, or even appear to do so, when we have so many more important principles at stake. It is my earnest desire to do anything I can to aid in composing matters and if there is anything I can do please let me know.”
