Letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton, 1906-03-15
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton discusses his view of the vaccination controversy in Bryn Athyn. He writes, “I am beginning to feel concerned about the situation in Bryn Athyn and I am wondering if you feel the same way. . . If I am right, moderate council will be much needed, and in case there is anything I can do in this direction I shall be only too glad to do it.” Pendletons suggests calling a meeting of the Consistory to consider the “state and welfare of the Church.” Names mentioned: Zella (Pendleton?), Louis (Pendleton?)
