 Item
Identifier: RG.004.01

Scope and Contents

Handwritten letter from N.D. Pendleton to Bishop William F. Pendleton. Pendleton has heard that the Middleport Society is considering hosting the District Assembly. Pendleton asks W.F.P. for details on the time and place of the next meeting. He also asks if W.F.P. will make sure these details are announced in the Life. Pendleton supposes he should resign as secretary of the Chicago District Assembly. He left the secretary’s book with Alvin Nelson, with instructions to pass it along to the next secretary. Pendleton has not yet heard anything from Brown about the minutes of the Pittsburgh Assembly; He thinks Brown has probably left them with someone in Pittsburgh. They still have not found a new teacher for the Pittsburgh school, but they will discuss the situation again at the upcoming council meeting. Names mentioned: Ben (no surname given), Alvin Nelson, (Reginald William) Brown
